SVRS Interpreters

Sorenson VRS® (SVRS®) is known throughout the industry for having the highest-quality professional interpreters. We invest heavily in our customized, interpreter training and mentoring programs so that each SVRS interpreter can provide the best service possible.

Are SVRS interpreters qualified?

Our SVRS interpreters are certified by either the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) or Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), hold a state interpreter certificate at the Intermediate or Master Certificate skill levels or have years of professional interpreting experience. All SVRS interpreters receive on-going training and support.

  1. A minimum of three or more years of professional working experience as a certified sign language interpreter in a variety of settings.
  2. Certifications at NAD level IV/V; or an RID CI, CT, CI/CT, CSC; or NIC, NIC Advanced, NIC Master; or a state interpreter certificate at the Intermediate or Master Certificate skill levels or hold a state interpreter certificate at the Intermediate or Master Certificate skill levels or have the professional interpreting experience subject to skill set verification and screening.
