How do I view my SignMail messages?

After you have set up your SignMail account you can receive messages. Remember to tell all your hearing friends and contacts about SignMail so that they can ask the SVRS interpreter to leave a message when they can't reach you.

Follow these steps to view your SignMail messages:

Step 1 of 3
Check your e-mail for messages from Sorenson VRS. If you receive a message like the one shown above, you've got a SignMail video waiting for you. Remember to check your "Junk" or "Spam" folder if you think you are not receiving SignMail e-mails.

Step 2 of 3
To see your message, click on the link given in the e-mail.

Notice that there is a second link that you can use to download and save the message to your computer's hard drive.

You can view a message up to 10 times in 30 days. After that, the message will be automatically deleted.

If you want to save messages, you can download them to your computer.

Note: SignMail messages are solely for your personal use. You may not forward, upload, or otherwise make the messages public.

Step 3 of 3
After you click on the link in the e-mail, the ASL video containing your SignMail message will automatically begin playing in the Microsoft Windows Media Player application. You can use the controls in the application to stop or replay the message.

If you don't have Windows Media Player installed, follow the instructions in the e-mail to download and install the program.

Remember to check your e-mail regularly to see if you have new SignMail messages.
