How Do I Get a DirectVP Number?
Getting a DirectVP number is easy. You will use the VP-200 itself to select your number from a list of available numbers.Follow these steps to get a DirectVP number:

Before you begin, notice that your Sorenson videophone number is shown in the Status Bar area of the Home page
Select the Settings icon.

The screen display has changed to show the Settings options page.
Select the Personal icon.
Note: The screen shown above does not include the normal video image. This was done to make it easier to see the icon(s) that appear in the image area.

Select the User icon.

This is the User Identity Settings page. The Name field and the Sorenson Number field already contain entries because this information was entered by your Sorenson Trainer when the videophone was first installed.
Select the Get Number button located next to the DirectVP Number field.

The screen display has changed to show the Get DirectVP Number page. This page shows a list of the available DirectVP numbers. You can select any one of the numbers in the list to be your personal DirectVP number.
Consider each number in the list carefully because you will not be able to change to a different DirectVP number after you have confirmed your selection.
Select the desired number from the list. When you are ready to confirm your choice, select the OK button.

The screen display has changed to show a dialog that requires you to confirm your selection.
If you are certain that you are ready to confirm your selection of the number that is now shown in the dialog, select the OK button.
If you do not want to confirm the number shown in the dialog, select the Cancel button to go back to the previous page.

The screen display has changed to show the User Identity Settings page again. Notice that the DirectVP number you have just selected and confirmed now appears in the DirectVP Number field.
Also, notice that the Sorenson Number field shows your original Sorenson videophone number.
Note: You can return to this page in the future if you want to see both of the numbers associated with your user account at the same time.
When ready to leave this page, select the OK button.

The screen display has changed to show the Personal options page. Notice that our personal DirectVP number is now shown in the Status Bar area of the page.
Remember, if you ever need to see your Sorenson videophone number, you can select the User icon on this page to re-open the User Identity Settings page.
Select the Home icon to return to the Home page.
