Update Your Contact Information
It is important to keep your contact information current so you can easily be located should you need to call 911. Update your contact information if you move, change your name or create a new email address. During an emergency, if the person calling becomes unresponsive, help will be sent to the location registered with Sorenson. If you move without updating the location information of the videophone you use, help could mistakenly be sent to your old address.
It’s easy to keep your address up to date. You can do this right through the VP-200 that you use. From the home screen select the “Location” icon. You’ll be able to update your 911 location information. Use the remote to update the information if it is not correct.
Each time the power is reconnected to the VP-200, you will be asked to verify your current address information. By having your current location information, we will be ready to send emergency help if you need it.
When you update your contact information, you can also request that your videophone be reinstalled at your new location.
Videophone Moving and Reinstallation Program
Our Sorenson trainers can help you move the videophone you use to a new location. The trainer will move the videophone to your new location within your current home or office, or they will help you pack the equipment and reinstall it at your new location. To take advantage of this free service, please contact the SVRS VP Moving Desk either by videophone or by completing the form below.
