Don’t be fooled by other VRS providers who make promises they can’t keep. If you’ve ported away and want to come back to Sorenson, it’s easy to do! Moving your phone number from one VRS provider to another is called number porting. If you want to port your number back to Sorenson, all you need to do is call either your Sorenson trainer or our CIR department at (801) 386-8500.

Keep Your Number with Sorenson

Keep your number at Sorenson to continue to enjoy all the benefits Sorenson provides. Many VRS users have come back to Sorenson when they realize what they have lost. If you port away:

• You will lose Sorenson Gold Services
• Your new VRS provider may take your Sorenson videophone
• You will lose your place in line to receive ntouch VP

Letter of Agency (LOA)

Download a Standard Letter of Agency (LOA). For an example of what a completed Standard LOA form might look like, click here. When you complete this form, Sorenson will be able to bring the number you identify from another service provider to Sorenson VRS. After this number is updated in the Sorenson system, people who dial that number will reach you through the Sorenson videophone that you use.

Please fill out the form including the date and your signature and then send it to Sorenson Communications. You can send this form in the following two ways:

Sorenson will contact you as soon as your number is ready to use with Sorenson VRS. This process usually takes between three and 30 business days after your completed form has been received.
